What's in It for you?
Q:
Have you lost the passion, enthusiasm, motivation
and inspiration you once felt for your career as a salon professional?
What happened...it used to be so much fun!
A: It's not lost, just misplaced! The TABP is a group
of fun, highly passionate and inspired individuals that can help you
rediscover what made you want to be a salon professional to begin with.
Q: Do you want to take your business to the next level,
but find that you are challenged to even know how to begin? Are price
increases scary? Do you need to add some new services? Do you avoid
learning business skills because you are an "ARTIST"?
A: In today's competitive market, being an "Artist"
isn't enough anymore. We have many seasoned professionals that are willing
to share their wisdom, knowledge and experience to help you grow in
your desired direction.
Q: Are you in a salon environment where you work "around"
others, but not "with" them. Is there a lack of teamwork or a sense
of family?
A: At the TABP, one of our main purposes is to provide
a sense of family where you know you can be supported during challenging
times and celebrated during successful times.
Q: Are you interested in keeping your skills fresh
and current, but find that the local education offered just doesn't
meet your needs or is too product driven?
A: The TABP tailors educational programs to meet the
needs of the members. If we aren't offering what you want, help us create
it!
Our Mission
Our
mission is to create a professional environment where we can learn from
each other, grow together, exchange
ideas and inspire one another. We come together to find team-mates
rather than competitors. We all have similar dreams and goals...to
be happy, productive and successful. We support each other in
the quest to realize these dreams and goals.
Our Philosophy
We come together as teammates, not competitors. We are all of the family of beauty professionals. There are enough clients for ALL of us.
Clients don’t leave your chair because another stylist stole them. They leave because they weren’t getting their needs completely met in your chair.
Stylists don’t leave your salon because another salon owner stole them. They leave because they weren’t completely satisfied at your salon.
We
live in a world of “free will”. People do what they want
to do. It is unlikely that someone will get them to do something that
they do not wish to do.
It is time to unite our energies for the greater good of the entire industry.
It is time to put aside our petty and unprofessional attitudes of the past.
It is time for us to learn how to trust and respect one another.
It is time to operate from a new level of consciousness.
